Results of Oracle Upgrade Survey 


I ran a survey last September to find out when readers planned to upgrade to Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.

There was very good response to the survey and the results are interesting...


  • 51% percent of the respondents replied that they will upgrade in 2008
  • 31% replied that they will wait until the Fusion Applications are released before upgrading.
  • 13% replied that they would upgrade in 2007. (Wonder how many of the respondents actually started an upgrade last year)
  • 6% indicated that they would upgrade in 2009

With over 57% of the respondents indicating that they planned to upgrade this year or next, E-Business Suite Developers, DBAs, Analysts and Consultants should be quite busy for the foreseeable future.
